Answers to our top 10 questions about the second hand boards for sale can be found below. If you have a different question then please feel free to get in touch at one of the locations on our contact page here.
Question 1: I’ve seen a surfboard on your website that I want to buy, is it still available?
Answer: The secondhand surfboards are removed from the site very quickly after they are sold. So if you have seen the board on the website, it’s more than likely still available.
Question 2: Can you courier boards to different locations in South Africa?
Answer: Yes we can. We regularly courier surfboards to different locations in South Africa. For example, lately we have sent boards to locations such as:
- Durban
- Port Elizabeth
- Johannesberg
- Pretoria
- Centurion
- Jeffreys Bay
- Plettenberg Bay
- Knysna
- George
Please keep in mind that we spend our own time buying packaging, wrapping the boards in cardboard and tape. Then further protection with bubble wrap and fragile tape. Then we personally drive to the courier depot to drop a board off with the courier.
Therefore costs involved with shipping surfboards around South Africa are inclusive of time, packaging materials and courier costs.
We make sure boards are very well protected. These images are a few examples of how well we package a surfboard for shipping.
Question 3: Do you accept card payments for boards?
Answer: Unfortunately not at this present time. Surfboards have to be paid for with cash or via EFT.
Question 4: Can I try out a surfboard before I buy it?
Answer: No. Surfboards can break and can get damaged. We are not prepared to take any risks to let anyone try a board before making a purchase.
Question 5: Can you hold a board for me until I can get to you?
Answer: Yes we can do that. To hold a board for 5 days we require an EFT deposit. The amount will be agreed upon by yourself and ourselves. If you are happy to pay for the board in full upfront we will hold it for you until you are ready to collect.
Question 6: Is there any guarantee or money back policy on the purchase of a second hand surfboard?
Answer: No. As with all second hand goods all boards are bought as seen. Due to the nature of the sport of surfing we cannot offer any kind of guarantees. Neither can we swap one surfboard for another once purchased.

Answer: Most of the boards for sale include the fins. It will state on the ad if a particular board is “Including Fins”.

Answer: Only now and then, depending on what sort of board you want to trade in. It’s something you would need to ask us about personally.
